Checking your Spam score in Entourage

To check the spam score, click on a message in the Inbox.

Double-click the message to open it up in a new window.

Then, click on the View menu and select Internet Headers. 

The Internet headers for the message will be seen at the top of the body. The Spam Score will be located under the header labeled “X-MailScanner-SpamCheck:”

In this example, the spam score is -3.158. The required spam score is 5.5. This is how Entourage’s automatic filter checks for spam. If it is 5.5 or higher, the message will be considered spam.
