Filtering your Spam Mail in Entourage

To set a spam filter in Entourage, click on the Tools menu and select Rules.



The Rules dialog box will appear. To add the new rule, click on either the IMAP, POP or Exchange just above the rules list.



Click on the New button and choose the account that needs to have the filter added.



When the Edit Rule dialog appears, click on the All Messages drop-down menu and change it to Subject.



In the Contains text box, enter {SPAM}. Then, change the Move Message drop-down menu and select Deleted Items or a different folder.



Click the Choose button. Enter Spam in the Rule Name box and click OK. The newlycreated filter will appear in the Rules box.

To edit the rule, double-click the name or click on the edit button. To delete, click on Delete.
