Setup your Exchange Account on Microsoft Entourage 2004

*The current guide being used is Entourage 2008

Select the Microsoft Entourage icon from your dock or in the application folder on the Macintosh HD.

Once Entourage loads, go to the menu toolbar and select “Tools” then “Accounts” 

A new box will open with choices to add new accounts for Mail, News, Directory Service, or Exchange. Select the “Exchange” choice.

Click the “New” button on the top left of the window. This will open the Account Setup Assistant.

Select the button on the bottom left of the window “Configure account manually”

You will enter the following for the settings:

• Account Name: SHSU Exchange Account
• Account ID: your username
• Password: your password
• Domain: shsu
• Exchange Server: cas.shsu.edu
• Name: your name
• E-mail Address: your email address

Click OK and your account will be setup. You will receive a message that says Entourage is now synchronizing in the background with your Exchange account. Click “OK” on the message and close the Account window.

It may take a few moments to synchronize your account so give it a few minutes to display your mail, calendar, and etc.
