CD BURNING
First, insert a blank CD into your CD-Rom writer drive. Then, double click on the My Computer
icon.
Then, double click on the icon with the CD's name on it. It should say CD Drive or whatever you named your CD.
Select the files you want to move and then drag them into the CD folder. You should see your files inside the folder with the words "Files Ready to be Written to CD" at the top. At this stage, the files are temporarily stored until they are written to your disk.

When you are ready, click on the Write These Files To CD link in the CD Writing Tasks pane, right click and choose Write Files to CD or go to the File menu and choose Write These Files to CD.
Then, you will be directed to the CD Writing Wizard, where it will ask you to name the disc, if it hasn't already been named.
Click Next. You will see a progress bar showing that the files are being copied into your disc.
When it is finished, you will see the following dialog box and your disc will be ejected. Click the Finish button to delete the temporary files and close the drive.
Now, go to My Computer and click on your disc. You should see your files in the following window that appears.
When you want to add another file, just drag it into the CD drive window and repeat the above steps you did for the first file.
Erasing A CD
If you have a rewritable CD, you have the option to erase the disc. To erase, just put your disc back into the CD writer drive and click on File, then choose Erase this CD-RW.
When the CD Writing Wizard appears, click the Next button. You will see a progress bar showing the progress of your disc.
When the wizard has completed erasing the disc, click on the Finish button. Your disc is now cleared and ready to be used again.
