Captivate

If you wish to import a PowerPoint, select the option "From Microsoft PowerPoint" when you first open Captivate

Navigate to the folder that has your PowerPoint presentation.

If you are comfortable in PowerPoint, it might be more beneficial to create your base slides there and then import them to Captivate

Select your PowerPoint file and click Open

A progress bar will appear

When you get to this screen, click OK

If you don't want all the slides to appear in your Captivate project, uncheck the respective slide.

Your slides should now appear in Captivate.

Make sure you do not move your PowerPoint file since Captivate will reference the file location should you need to edit a slide.

Also, do not rename your PowerPoint once you have incorporated it into a project
