Katherine Davis Katherine Davis provides backup for the Associate Vice President for Information Technology, and assists with the daily management and strategic planning for the SHSU Information Technology departments of Enterprise Services, Systems & Support, and Client Services. She is responsible for the administration, planning, and budgeting of these areas. Mrs. Davis has received Bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Business Analysis from Texas A&M University. She has recently come to SHSU from Texas Department of Criminal Justice where she was the manager over applications development, web administration, data management, and system analysis. |

Mark Adams Mark handles the administration, planning, budgeting, and reporting to outside agencies for the Information Technology Department, as well as oversight of the University Post Office. Mr. Adams began his career at SHSU as a student assistant in Information Technology in 1990. He has received both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Science from SHSU. |

Debbie Randolph Debbie works in the Information Technology purchasing section and processes purchase order requests for computers, software and computer related equipment. She worked for another state agency prior to joining SHSU in February 2010, and has experience in finance, budget and procurement. Debbie received a BBA and MBA from SHSU. |

Beverly Wiggins Beverly is responsible for maintaining payroll records for student assistants and processing departmental purchase orders. Beverly has worked for SHSU since 1999. She completed three years at Texas Woman's University in Denton. |

Tim McGuffin Responsible for Systems Administration and security. Tim has been with Information Technology since October of '98, and have been full time since June of 2001. He completed the CompTIA A+ Certification in March of '98 and the Cisco CCNA exam in December 2001. He received his BS in IT/Electronics with a minor in Chemistry in 2003, and his Master's degree in Digital Forensics. |

Kayla Stephenson Kayla is the lab manager for SHSU and is responsible for scheduling the hours of operation for the general use labs, maintenance of lab equipment, supplies for the lab, scheduling labs for faculty use, and lab assistant work scheduling. Kayla is also responsible for screening, interviewing, and training of students applying for lab assistant's positions. Kayla has been working for Information Technology since December 2001 and has a B.S. in Industrial Technology - Electronics from SHSU. Kayla is currently pursuing her Masters in Instructional Technology. |

Stephanie Brim Stephanie Brim came on board with the University in April 2009 as the Marketing Coordinator. Her focus is on marketing and communications coordination for the Banner/ERP project. Stephanie received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a minor in Business from SHSU in 2008. She comes to the University with a varied public sector work history, ranging from military service to state and local government agency experience. |

Steven Frey Steven has worked in the IT field for K-12 and Higher Education institutions since 1997, and after earning his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from SHSU in 2000, Steven took a full-time position with Information Technology as a systems administrator responsible for Windows server administration and software deployment. In 2006, he received his Master of Science in Digital Forensics from SHSU and is now responsible for overseeing the Systems area which comprises of the Systems Administration and Managed Applications teams. |

Grady Mangum Grady is responsible for the Systems and Telecommunications area of Information Technology. This area includes the delivery, security, and operational reliability, of university-wide telecommunications, network, server, and data center infrastructure services that are required to support the teaching, learning, research, and administrative functions of Sam Houston State University. |

Corey Crawford Corey has worked for Information Technology since November 2008, and achieved his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science in May of 2010. Corey will be assisting with the management, maintenance, and deployment of GNU/Linux servers for campus use. |

Dustin Thornton Dustin's primary responsibility is the 24/7 Operations support. He assists with the Helpdesk and the switchboard. Dustin is also responsible for creating visitor accounts. Dustin graduated with a B.A. in History and a minor in Computer Science from SHSU in 2002 and is currently taking graduate coursework. Dustin has worked for Information Technology since 2001. |
Andrew Williams Andrew has been working for Information Technology as a student since January 2006, primarily in the Helpdesk, then Operations area. After serving as Operations Lead Worker for a time, he graduated with his Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication in May 2010. He will be assisting with Telecom/Systems administrative and project management duties. |

Tom Dewing Thomas Dewing has joined the UCS-Systems Department as a system administrator. Thomas is finishing up his Bachelor of Science degree in Computing Science here at SHSU. Thomas has just been honored as one of the members of SHSU's first-place team in the Defense Cyber Crime Center Digital Forensics Challenge! |
James Horn Manages the administrative computing system, Nell, the Exchange mail server, the Mailing list on Unxmail, and the Telephone System. James started working for SHSU in June 1982 as a lab assistant for the lab in AB1. From there he became a Student Operator, Systems Programmer, where he was hired full-time in Oct 1985. He has a BS in CS from SHSU and graduated in May of 1984. |
