Description
Voicemail service is available through Unified Messaging in Microsoft Exchange as an optional feature for users with VoIP telephone service.
Standard Service Features
- Customizable personal greeting
- Out of office feature
- Voicemail and email messages are consolidated into a universal mailbox

Delivery Scope
SHSU campus-wide.
Delivery Channels
Users are able to retrieve messages through a telephone, computer, or PDA.
Service Hours
Voicemail service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including holidays, unless service is interrupted due to unforeseen circumstances. Occasional routine scheduled maintenance may occur.
User Requirements
Be a current SHSU employee or approved affiliate.
Service Initiation
This service may be acquired by placing a work order through the IT@Sam Work Order System, or by contacting the IT@Sam Service Desk at (936) 294-1950.

Assistance with this service may be obtained by placing a work order through the IT@Sam Work Order System, or by contacting the IT@Sam Service Desk at (936) 294-1950.
Standard Costs
None. Voicemail service is included with telephone service.

Service Targets
Targets of this service are:
- 99.9% uptime, not including scheduled change outages.
- Restore service upon non-planned service outage.
