Professional Goals
Never Stop Learning – To continue to grow
professionally, to learn all we can about technology, then to share that
knowledge with others. Set and achieve goals to improve work performance.
Change – Agent – Things never remain the same. To be a change agent you
must be able to see the big picture then help others see the positives in
change.
Trainer – To help our
student staffs grow professionally through set training program offered by
several departments working with Computer Services to provide a variety of
topics.
Volunteer – Help the local community learn about technology; basic
computer use, helping parents learn the internet they way their kids see it, or
how to use particular software. Training is offered by the Small Business
Development Center and grant funded courses by the local YMCA.
Be Active in Professional Associations – Special Interest
Group on University and College Computing Services (SIGUCCS) is an association
of professionals working at colleges or universities in information technology
located in the US and Canada.
