Charlie Amato graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1970 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He and fellow SHSU alumnus Gary Dudley founded Southwest Business Corporation where he serves as chairman in San Antonio, Texas. Charlie serves on the COBA Advisory Council, is a member of the President’s Circle, a recipient of the Distinguished Alumnus Award, a Life member of the Alumni Association, and a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon.
