Responsibilities of Teacher Lesson Monitors

 

 

Please adhere to the following guidelines for monitoring the student tutorial lessons:

 

·        Assign students to a computer.

·        Prior to tutorial session, ensure that program is up and running for the students.

·        After analysis of the results of the Release TASS and consultation with students’ teachers, determine the lessons most appropriate for students.

·        Maintain a log of student progress.

·        Guide students in lesson procedures:

-         student takes lesson pretest ( give assistance as needed).

-         student reviews lesson (again, give assistance as needed).

-         student takes pretest again to determine improvement

-         student reviews lesson again if needed.

-         student takes posttest for lesson when ready.

 

Procedures for Posttest

 

·        Posttest can only be taken during the tutorial sessions.

·        Student indicates to teacher of intent to take the posttest.

·        Teacher gives student the identification card with student username and password.

·        Teacher monitors to ensure that student is logged in to the posttest.

·        Student returns identification card to teacher.

·        Student takes posttest.

 

NOTE

Students may take the pretests as often as needed, and may review the appropriate lessons also as often as needed.  STUDENTS MAY TAKE POSTTEST ONLY ONCE FOR EACH LESSON!
