Staff Council Professional Development Conference

Find it hard to get away from the office, but still want training and networking opportunities? Wish you could find a free conference close to home? Staff Council presents a one-day on-campus conference targeting staff professional development opportunities with a variety of topics and speakers.
We will offer three education sessions in the morning, and three in the afternoon. Each session will offer four separate tracks. Altogether, twelve separate sessions will be offered in the morning and then repeated in the afternoon. We've created this schedule to accommodate those who need to alternate conference attendance with office coverage and to provide multiple topics. Choose the sessions most applicable to your professional development! For a complete schedule of the day's events, sessions, and speakers, please see this flyer.
A luncheon with a keynote presentation on "Positive Self-Management in Challenging Times" will also be offered. Given the limited number of seats for the lunch, reservations are required. You can register for the conference either with or without lunch.

- Select either Registration WITH Lunch or Registration NO Lunch. (Those registering WITH lunch may choose to have a vegetarian lunch.)
- Add to Cart. Registrants are limited to one (1) "registration" product only.
- Checkout.
- Enter your Email address. Your registration "receipt" will be emailed to this address.
- Continue Unregistered.
- Complete the required registration ("buyer information").
- Review Order.
- Check the Return Policy Agreement statement.
- Submit Your Order.
- Order Receipt page. You may print your order if you would like. An email confirmation of your order with this same information will also be emailed to you.
- See you at the Conference!

Staff Council Regular Meetings
The Sam Houston State University Staff Council meets generally on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 1:30 pm in the Lowman Student Center, Room 304. All SHSU staff members are invited to each regular meeting.
