Bearkat Family Weekend 2009

September 11-13th, 2009

**Price includes a welcome gift, Continental Breakfast at the Coffee with Administrators, Catered lunch, Carnival on the Concourse, Tailgating at Bower’s Stadium and the Classic Car Show.  Tickets for the football game must be purchased separately at the gate or in advance through the Athletic Department.

Many activities are being planned to welcome Bearkat Families for Bearkat Family Weekend 2009.  These activities include: Coffee with the Administrators, Bearkat Family BBQ, Classic Car Show and Pre-game Tailgate.

Scheduled for Saturday in Austin Hall, all registered guests are invited to enjoy a continental breakfast, mingle with other families, and have the opportunity to interact with university administrators.  Following the Coffee parents are invited to attend a meeting held by the SHSU Parents’ Association.  During this meeting scholarship recipients for Fall 2009 will be recognized.  For lunch, guests will be able to sit down and enjoy a catered meal inside Johnson Coliseum.

Scheduled for 4pm in Bowers Stadium North Lot, the Pre-Game Tailgate is an opportunity for everyone to get into the Bearkat Spirit.  Food and fun for all will be at Bearkat Alley as excitement builds for the pending football game.  At 6pm in Bowers Stadium, Bearkat Football will take on North Dakota State. Registration for this fun-filled weekend will open August 3rd, 2009.  The price per person has yet to be determined but will be released prior to registration opening.
