| John grew up in Denver, Colorado. He attended Colorado State University (Fort Collins, CO) receiving a BS in Human Development/Family Studies and an M.Ed in College Student Personnel Administration. John has spent his entire professional life in student services and prior to coming to SHSU has worked at Concordin College (MN), Saint Bonaventure University (NY), Saint Mary’s University (TX), Columbia College (MO), Christian Brothers University (TN), Thiel College (PA), Houston Baptist University (TX), and Waynesburg College (PA). John enjoys attending SHSU athletic and theater events. He is also active in the Huntsville Rotary Club, the Huntsville Cruisers (classic car club), and First Assembly of God Church. |

| Daughn received two degrees from SHSU, a BFA and an MFA. She received her Ph.D. from Texas A&M University's department of Educational Human Resource Development. She has been employed in administrative and faculty positions at Sam Houston State University, Lee College, and Kingwood College. Her areas of research interests include non-traditional students and the educational and occupational barriers of Hispanic women. Other professional interests and affiliations include status as a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), allied member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), licensure as an interior designer by the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners, membership in the Upsilon Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, and membership in the Huntsville Rotary Club. |

| Jeanine Bias is originally from San Antonio, TX and is a proud alumnus of Sam Houston State University where she received a BA in Political Science. She is currently completing her Master of Public Administration from Texas State University-San Marcos. Jeanine has spent her entire professional career in student affairs and prior to coming to SHSU has worked at University of Texas at San Antonio and Texas State University – San Marcos. Her responsibilities in the Dean of Students’ Office include Orange Keys, F.L.A.S.H. (New Student Mentor Program), B.O.L.D. Leadership Program, Parent/Family Weekend, Student Absence Notification, Alpha Lambda Delta Advisor and SHSU Parents' Association Advisor. |

Dr. Gibson grew up in Dallas, Texas. He received his B.B.A. degree from the University of Texas at Austin, a Master of Science from Sam Houston State University, and his Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University School of Law in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Gibson is a member of the State Bar of Texas and is currently Secretary and Board Member of the Texas Mediators Credentialing Association. He was formerly on the Board of Directors of the Texas Association of Mediators, the Texas Mediators Trainers Roundtable, and past President and Treasurer of the Greater Houston Chapter Society of Professionals in Dispute Resolution (now ACR). He has been honored for outstanding services to the ADR Section of the State Bar of Texas.
Dr. Gibson is a frequent speaker on conflict management at state, regional and national conferences. He has written or contributed to many training manuals and published the first training manual for criminal mediation in Texas. Other publications have been featured in Texas Trial Lawyer, Alternative Resolutions, Texas Mediator, the newsletter of the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, publication of The State Bar of Texas, and Texas Young Lawyers Association. He is co-author of Capitalizing on Conflict, published by Davies-Black, Palo Alto, California, April 2002. After release Harvard Business School placed Capitalizing on Conflict on their Book Recommendation Library list and it won an award for one of the best business books in 2002. |

| As the Chief Investigator, Jason is responsible for all investigations involving student and student group misconduct as well as assisting the Deans in other matters involving student discipline issues. He has worked as a Contract Investigator with the US Government and is a licensed Texas Peace Officer. Jason is currently serving as a Reserve Deputy with the Walker County Sheriff's Office, where he spent three years as a full time Patrol Deputy before joining the DOSO Team. He also serves as an advisor to the Student Government Association and is a member of the Alcohol Abuse Initiative. |

| Kimberly is a graduate of Sam Houston State University. She has been employed with Sam Houston since her graduation and has worked for not only the Dean of Students’ but Undergraduate Admissions and Financial Aid. Kimberly is responsible for the following: F.L.A.S.H. Program Support, B.O.L.D. Program Support, Parents’ Association Support, Organization/Administrators Fair Coordination, Who’s Who Coordination, Freshman Leader Selection Coordinator, Monitoring of Co-Curricular Transcript, Alpha Lambda Delta Support, Parent/Family Weekend Support, and Freshman Leader Program Support.
