SHSU students with a unique opportunity to explore
the nature of leadership and to develop their leadership
potential in informal and interactive workshop settings. |

The FLASH Mentor Program is
an initiative that matches Mentors (faculty, staff
or administrators) with first-time freshman students.
Mentors contact the students when they arrive on
campus, welcome them to the community and serve
as their mentor during their first year on campus. |

Ask the Raven is an electronic forum operated out of the Dean of Students' Office for students to utilize to address your issues. Our goal is to help you, the student at Sam, resolve your issues or concerns or refer you to a person or office that can more effectively address the question or issue at hand. |

The Dean of Students' Office is responsible for coordinating and administering the student judicial process. |

The Dean of Students' Office represents the student's needs to the University administration, faculty, and various departments. Staff will assist students who have questions about any phase of campus life.
The department, in an effort to promote individual and group development of students, co-sponsors educational programs and leadership activities.
