

Workdays will be an open process free to any candidates attending. Any ladies coming to workout for a workday will need to bring proof of medical insurance and have a completed waiver of liability. The waiver can be found under our forms link online. Attire for any workday should include sports bra and biker shorts or fitting t-shirt and shorts with appropriate shoes.

On the first evening, candidates will come in and demonstrate their standing and running tumbling abilities. At this point a cut will be made. After the first cut, candidates will stunt and be taught the try-out material. If needed, an additional cut will be made after this portion of try-outs. On the final day candidates will demonstrate the material and stunt. A final cut will be posted immediately following the conclusion of the second day.
Yes. However, in the process of try-outs you may be moved from one group to the other at the discretion of the staff.
All applicants need to be in Sports bra and spandex or fitting shorts and top.

New students must be admitted to Sam Houston State University for the fall semester in order to try-out. Sam Houston State University students must have a 2.0 cumulative grade point average and be in good standing with the University. All students not accepted or accepted on probation to the university must first speak with the Advisor and Coach to determine eligibility for try-outs.
A completed application form, questionnaire, current transcript, picture, and proof of medical insurance must be turned in with a twenty-dollar application fee two days prior to try-outs. (Do not have pictures made especially for this application packet.)
