SHSU Spirit Programs Spotlight

Chelsie Stone is a freshman here at Sam Houston State and will be graduating in May 2013.  She is studying pre-med and plans to attend medical school where she would like to study Oncology. This is Chelsie first year as being apart of the co-ed cheerleading team for Sam Houston and she loves everything it involves.  She started cheerleading in high school and has loved it ever since.  She is also part of the UCA Staff.  Ever since she has seen co-ed cheerleading she has thought it was amazing and has wanted to try it.  “Thank you Brian for making that happen.  You have been a great support and have made me become more confident in everything I do.  It takes time and dedication, but has made me better not just in cheerleading but also academically.  Being on this team has been a great experience and I would love to be apart of it again next year.  I would like to thank my family for everything they have done and for all of their support throughout this year, I couldn’t have done it without them.  Also, thank you to everybody else who supports our spirit program, we all appreciate it.”  Eat Em’ Up Kats!
