about

Sam Houston State University is honored to bring back the 3rd Annual Kats for the Cause initiative during the fall 2009 semester. This cause will benefit breast cancer education and awareness. Our mission is to create awareness, change attitudes, and commit others to action. Various student organizations, faculty and staff members from the Sam Houston campus have organized a variety of activities and ways to get involved in supporting these efforts. On Saturday, November 14, 2009 we will host the 3rd Annual Kats for the Cause 5k walk/run and Pink Out at the Sam Houston State football game against Central Arkansas. If you are interested in becoming involved with this initiative or attending any events, please contact a committee member listed on this page.
