Internship in Speech Communication

Students pursue internships with a communication emphasis through area businesses. This involves a work-study approach to learning. Normally, the student makes regular reports to the SHSU director of internship in SCM about what is happening in the workplace and also prepares a summary report of what was learned through this process. Internships are individually arranged and require permission for enrollment.
