Deciding your major should not be a snap decision - it may take a little time to do some exploration, followed by discussion so you can make a decision about you academic career - this is time well spent. #1 Choosing a Major - Career Development Workshop As a group or individually, this program is coordinated with the counseling center, SAM Center and Career Services, offering:

"Assessment" - Who are you? What do you enjoy? What are you good at?

"Choosing a major" - one on one of what's out there

"Career Options" - job market availability

 

#2 Check out "SIGI 3" - http://ww2.shsu.edu An online SHSU website career exploration program that you do at your own pace. When you are done you will be hearing from me about all of the resources available to you so that you can make informed decisions about you major study and career possibilities.
