Conversations On Leadership In A Diverse Community

This program brings to campus members of our local and state community who are significant role models who have made meaningful contributions in the area of diversity. This program is an informal conversation or dialogue between the presenter and the audience. Our guest speakers share aspects of their own childhood and how events promoted their commitment and understanding of Leadership in a Diverse Community.

This program is informal and informative! Please watch the calendar to see when our next speaker is scheduled. Presentations are at 5 p.m. in the Olson Auditorium and they are followed at 6 p.m. with a reception in the SAM Center so that students can visit with the presenter.

Students have responded very favorably to the presentations. The following are a few comments from the evaluations. “ It is very motivating to hear people talk about where they came from and then see how far they have come, and to see their accomplishments.”

“I loved the speakers and the informality of the presentation.”
