EDITORIAL GUIDELINES FOR SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS

June 1997

Self-Study Editor:

  Evans 413, Extension 1412

The self-study editor has designed the following guidelines to ensure a certain measure of structural and stylistic uniformity in subcommittee reports; this should ease the task of incorporating these separate documents into the comprehensive self-study report.

A. General Guidelines

1. Word Processing

You may generate the report in either IBM compatible WordPerfect (most recent version) or Microsoft Word (most recent version).

2. Font

In formatting the subcommittee report, use Helvetica, 12 cpi, if available. This document is formatted thus.

3. Spacing

Double-space the report throughout. The self-study editor will single-space sections as appropriate for the completed report.

4. Margins

Observe default margins of one inch on all sides of all pages of the report.

Do not justify right-hand margins.
