Bearkat Football ends the season with overtime loss to conference champ. Texas State-San Marcos

The Sam Houston State Bearkats lost to Texas State-San Marcos, 48-45 in overtime on Saturday, November 22, ending their season with a record of 4-6 and 2-5 in conference play.
A touchdown to Jason Madkins tied the game with four seconds to play in regulation, but the Bobcats were able to hold Sam Houston to a field goal in overtime, while puting up a touchdown on a four-yard run by Karrington Bush giving them the victory.
