Welcome to the Office of Research and Sponsored Program’s (ORSP’s) Training page. Over the course of the new year (2009-2010), this office will sponsor several workshops to address the following areas:
- Grant workshops for new faculty: these are intended to help explain the grant process and any new policies/procedures concerning this process
- IRB Training: Please refer to either the IRB Training page within this portion of the Web site or the Human Subjects link on the main page under Instruction Manuals and Training
- Grant writing workshops: these are intended to offer a step-by-step guide to writing powerful grant proposals
- Ethics in Research: Please click on the following link to navigate to the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) Web site in order to register and complete the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) course:

- Federal Grant [ARRA] workshops: TBA at a later date.
Please note that as dates for these workshops become available, they will be posted immediately to the Web site under their respective link. The dates will also appear in GrantScope, the ORSP newsletter.
