Mission Statement:
The mission of the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) at Sam Houston State University is to promote research and creative endeavors at SHSU and to facilitate the administration of all related activities.
Goals:
- To promote research administration that fulfills the university's research endeavors, instruction, and public service missions.
- To provide administrative support in seeking and securing external funding opportunities that support the creative and scholarly accomplishments of SHSU faculty and professional staff.
- To provide administrative support that is fully compliant with the guidelines of externally-sponsored research administration.
