The Internal Grant program is broken down into two different categories. These are the Faculty Research Grant (FRG), which is a summer grant for up to $5,000, and the Enhancement Research Grant (ERG) that can range from $5,000 to $15,000. Both programs are designed to help faculty develop research that may lead to external funding.
Please read the guidelines and application instructions for more specific information.
WARNING:
If your Internal Grant project will require IRB or IACUC approval, you must submit a brand new, research specific application that reflects the EXACT title of your proposed research project and the EXACT begin and end date of the grant:
If you are applying for the Faculty Research Grant (FRG), compliance approval must be requested from June 1 through August 31, 2012.
If you are applying for the Enhancement Research Grant (ERG), compliance approval must be requested from June 1, 2012 through May 31, 2013.
NOTA BENE:
Previously approved compliance applications cannot be substituted. Please attach proof that your IRB or IACUC application as outlined above has been submitted. Board approval is not required until March 2012.
