ORSP has two online funding databases available for faculty use:
- COS Funding Opportunities includes funding opportunities from all disciplines including arts and humanities, medicine, social sciences and sciences. It is one of the most comprehensive databases of funding from government and private sources. For those who are new to COS Funding Opportunities, please click on the link above and visit the new COS User Training. We encourage each of you to review the training webinars so that you can become familiar with this most useful tool for finding funding opportunities. - FoundationSearch is a database of charitable foundations that may be accessed in the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP). Appointments are preferred but not mandatory and can be made by contacting the respective office.
This program is licensed to work at the following offices at SHSU:

ATTN. Faculty: The NIH and NSF Office of Inspector General assign primary responsibility to universities for detecting and preventing research misconduct and for establishing a culture that emphasizes responsible conduct of research.
