Diplomas are mailed to the permanent address on record (check your permanent address) approximately 8 weeks after commencement; however, students should confirm address information prior to the last day of the term in order to ensure diplomas are mailed to the correct address. A final evaluation of the students' academic records will determine whether a degree is posted and diplomas mailed. December graduates should expect a longer delay receiving their diplomas in the mail due to the holiday break.
NOTE:
Diplomas (Effective with the May 2003 graduates): A Sam Houston State University diploma will be printed on 11 X 14 paper. The name to appear on the diploma will be the name as it appears on the official student academic record.
Duplicate diplomas may be ordered through the Registrar's Office by submitting a request in writing and including a student identification number, and the address to which the diploma should be mailed. Duplicate diplomas may also be picked up in the Registrar's Office with photo identification. The charge for a duplicate diploma will be $30.00.
