Destination Graduation

Graduation is a special time for every Bearkat and the Office of the Registrar has developed Destination Graduation as an online event to help potential graduates navigate the proper steps for their successful degree completion.

If you have questions about the commencement ceremony, here are the answers! Please look through all the pages in our menu on the right to answer your questions concerning graduation and the commencement ceremony at Sam Houston State University.

Important Updates

**Application for Degree Notice**

Students may begin applying for the May graduation on January 18, 2012.

The deadline for students to submit an Application for Degree and ensure their name is included in the commencement program is February 2, 2012.

All applications for degree submitted after February 2 will be assessed a late fee of $30.00. Students who submit an application after February 2, 2012 will not have their names included in the commencement program.

Application for Degree forms may be submitted by e-mail to ask.regforms@shsu.edu, by fax to 936-294-1737, or in person to the Registrar's Office.

Students are encouraged to verify their name and address by visiting the Diplomas - Name and Address page.

The Registrar's Office is located on the third floor of the Estill Building and is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm., Monday through Friday with the exception of University holidays.
