Welcome to Veterans Success at Sam (VSS)
Founded in 2009, Veterans Success at Sam has become a growing and thriving establishment at Sam Houston State University.
The Veterans Success at Sam program, originally named the Veterans Resource Center, underwent a name change in September 2011 to more precisely reflect the program’s mission to offer service and assistance to SHSU veterans.
At VSS, our vision and goal is to serve the men and women who have honorably served our country and assist them with their transition into university life at Sam Houston State University, a GI Jobs “Military Friendly School.”
