Welcome to the SHSU Office of Contracts and Grants website. The office is located on the 2nd floor of the Bobby K Marks Administration Building. The Office of Contracts and Grants falls under the Business Office/Vice President for Finance and Operations.
The mission of the SHSU Office of Contracts and Grants is to administer externally sponsored program funds in an efficient and effective manner to minimize risk to the University and allow faculty to focus on their research.
The Office of Contracts and Grants (C&G) supports SHSU in the performance and administration of projects through externally funded research, public service, instruction, training and other projects. C&G provides faculty/staff with post-award research administration support in administering externally funded awards, as well as institutional research grants. C&G is responsible for review and preparation of award documents, negotiating terms and conditions of awards, and for the financial administration of the award.
