How to register for a trip.
Each trip will have a designated time frame for you to sign up for it. The time frame is advertised on the trip flyer. The trip flyers can be located by clicking on the links on the Trips and Workshops page. The sign-up sheets for each trip will be on the desk at the Climbing Center in Recreational Sports Center. Each trip will have a limited number of spots available on the list, and a waiting list if you fail to make it into one of those spots. Once signed up, you have until the sign-up deadline to pay for the trip. If you do not pay by the deadline, YOU WILL BE DROPPED FROM THE TRIP and placed at the bottom of the waiting list. People on the waiting list will then be offered spots on the trip in the order that they signed up.

What does the trip fee cover?
Unless otherwise notified, the fee you pay to participate in an SHSU Outdoors trip covers just about everything: transportation, meals, equipment rental, instruction, and any entry fees incured while on the trip. What your fees do not cover are snacks you buy on the way to and from the destination, and any souvenirs you choose to purchase while there.

How do I pay for a trip?
All payments must be made at the Membership Services desk in the Recreational Sports Center or in the Recreational Sports office. Payments can only be made by those who have signed up and are on the primary trip list or have been notified that they've been moved from the waiting list to the primary list. We accept cash, credit cards and checks with proper identification.
