The Sam Houston State University Outdoor Recreation program can assist in outfitting you for your own adventures. We offer a wide variety of personal and group equipment at very reasonable rates. If you are interested in reserving or renting equipment through the Outdoor Recreation program, please contact us or stop by the Recreational Sports facility.

~ Rented items may be returned from 2pm to 6pm, Monday through Friday, at the

~ All items will be inspected upon return.
~ All items will be returned dry and in good working condition.
~ There is a $5.00 fee for each wet item returned.
~ Late fees shall be assessed at the daily rental rate per item, per day.
~ The renter is responsible for any damages to rented items up to the full replacement value of the items.
~ Sam Houston State University assumes no responsibility for accidents or injuries
resulting from the use of rented equipment.
