Intramural Sports provides the SHSU community the opportunity to compete and have fun in various team and individual sports. Leagues and tournaments are organized into different skill levels so you can play in a competitive or a relaxed recreational atmosphere. Flag football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, softball, racquetball, golf, and tennis are just a few of the sports offered. Officiating is one of the most integral parts of the Intramural Sports program. Students officials officiate all intramural games in flag football, volleyball, soccer, basketball and softball. Attend the official's clinic for the sport you're interested in and you'll learn everything you need to know. No experience is necessary! Extramural Events: Compete against the best Intramural teams from other universities across the nation. Extramural tournaments are offered for flag football, basketball and softball. You do not have to be the best SHSU team to attend and compete at an extramural tournament. |
