Q. What do I do with equipment/furniture that my department no
longer wants?
A. Fill out a Request for Changing Inventory (RC21) form (from
you to Property) and send to the Property Office. We will pick
it up as soon as possible.
Q. How do I transfer equipment from my inventory to another department’s
inventory?
A. Fill out a Request for Changing Inventory (RC21) form (from
you to them) and send it to the Property Office. If you need
someone to physically move the item send a work order to University
Stores-Hauling & Moving.
Q. I can’t find a piece of equipment. What should I do?
A. Report it as missing, using the RC21 form. If you think it
was stolen, notify UPD.
Q. May I take University property off campus for University business?
A. Yes, with the permission of your Department Head. Use the
Request to Remove Equipment from Campus (RA-22) form.
Q. Where can I get a copy of your forms?
A. Our forms are located on FileMaker Pro and the site.
