Southside Dining Facility
Building Project Coordinator: Dave Smith PROJECT COST - $2 Million funded by the Dining Operations Fund Balance.
The Southside Dining Facility will be located on Avenue J just South of the temporary Barnes and Nobles Bookstore facility on the corner of Bowers Blvd. This dining facility fulfills a much needed service for the 700+ students who currently live on the Southside of campus and the commuter students who are parking in and around that area. This demand will be increased by at least 500 students with the opening of Bearkat Village I and II in Fall 2003. This new 5,000 square foot facility will seat 120 people and features branded concepts in dining, including Pizza Hut, Java City, Home Zone and Montagues (a deli-style concept). The construction award is scheduled for February, 2003 and we expect the new dining facility to be completed October, 2003. ARCHITECT - BRW ARCHITECTS, COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS |
