Estill Building Renovation

Estill BuildingBuilding Committee Chair: Robert Dunning
Building Project Coordinator: Gary House

PROJECT COST - $400,000
Funded by the Higher Education Assistance Fund (HEAF) which are royalties designated specifically for renovations or capital improvements.

The Estill Building renovation will achieve the "one-stop-shopping" concept by housing four key areas of student business in one building: Admissions, Registrar, Cashiering, and Financial Aid.

The renovation will convert existing classroom space on the second and third floors into office space: 1,240 SF on the south side of the 2nd floor for Payroll Offices and 6,120 SF on the north side of the 3rd floor for the Office of the Registrar. The space was made available upon relocation of the History Department to the new Academic Building IV. Office space on the south side of the 3rd floor, previously occupied by the History Department faculty, is now occupied by Human Resources and Purchasing. Construction is scheduled to begin late March or early April and will be completed July, 2003.
