| Building and Facility Identity Signage | Vehicular and Pedestrian Directional Signage and Parking signs |

PROJECT COST - $500,000 General Use Fee Fund Balance.

Three Primary Gateway Signs will be installed. Two will frame the entrance to campus on both corners of Sam Houston Avenue and Bowers Blvd. The other will be at the east end of Bowers where it intersects with Sycamore. The Primary Gateway Signs are about 30 feet in length and four feet tall and are constructed of the Sam Houston "Signature" brick and limestone/cast stone face with sandblasted and color-infilled graphics.

Four Secondary Gateway Signs will be installed. The secondary gateway signage is constructed of the same materials but are about half the length of the primary signs. The first will be installed at the AB II corner of Sam Houston Avenue and 17th for all traffic approaching from the Huntsville Downtown area. There will be another on the east side of Avenue J. and Bobby K. Marks Drive; one on the east side of Avenue J at the campus edge and the fourth on the east side of Montgomery Road as you approach Bowers Stadium, right before you reach Bearkat Village I & II.

Materials are currently under production and installation will take place over the Summer, 2003.
