Baseball/Softball Complex
Building Project Coordinator: Gary House PROJECT COST - $4 Million project that is constructed with Texas State
University System Bonds and then paid back from the projected General
Use Fee: designated tuition account. The new Baseball/Softball Complex will be constructed on the east side of Bowers Stadium. The Complex will include NCAA Men's Baseball and Women's Softball fields, Locker Facilities, Weight Training Facilities, Restrooms, Announcer's Booth, Concession Stands and seating for 1,000 fans on the Baseball Field and 400 on the Softball Field. The Architect was approved at the November, 2002 Board of Regents meeting. Preliminary designs should be completed in February, 2003 and construction is projected to be completed in January, 2005. That means we will have 2 more seasons on the existing field. Once that project is completed we plan to carry the name, Holleman Field, to the new site. ARCHITECT - LAN/LEO A. DALY, HOUSTON, TEXAS |
