“LET'S TALK!” A Night of Conversation . . .

Lowman Student Center Ballroom

LET’S TALK!  A Night of Conversation seeks to renew the art of stimulating conversation in today’s modern culture.  The event embraces the ancient technique of dialogue consisting of a series of questions, the Socratic Method, designed to develop a truer understanding of the underlying issues in both the subject and the speaker.  This method is employed today in institutions of higher learning as a way of analyzing complex topics.  LET’S TALK!  A Night of Conversation reflects the spirit of those long ago discussions as well as the philosophy held by Socrates that “..the highest form of human excellence is to question oneself and others.”
