The State Agency Energy Savings Program provision in Executive Order RP49, signed by Governor Perry on October 27, 2005 requires each state agency to develop a plan for conserving energy and establish a percentage goal for reducing its usage of electricity, gasoline, and natural gas. Each agency is required to report back to the Office of the Governor and the Legislative Budget Board quarterly beginning April 1, 2006.
