American Politics, Legislative Politics, Political Participation.
A recipient of the University's Excellence in Teaching Award, Dr. Holcombe has authored several articles on both state legislatures and the U.S. Congress, which comprise his major research interests. He serves as faculty advisor to the local chapter of the national political science honor society, Pi Sigma Alpha, and the campus Episcopal Canterbury Club. Much of his non-university time is focused on work with his church.
