Public Administration, US National Security, and Political Philosophy

Rob joined the faculty of the Political Science Department at Sam Houston State University in 2005.  He teaches in the university's Master of Public Administration program. His current research involves institutional credibility, US defense policy and space policy, nation-building, complexity theory, and ethics.  He previously served as the editor of Ethics Today, a publication of the Seciton on Ethics in the American Society for Public Administration.  He has also authored articles for PATimes, and was awarded the inaugural Best PA Times Article Award for 2002 from the American Society for Public Administration.  Previously, Rob worked for the US AirForce Space and Missile Systems Center, and has also served as a consultant to several government and non-profit organizations dealing with organizational teambuilding and leadership.
