Alicia Kennedy

Alicia was part of the lab from 2006 until her graduation in 2009. She worked on small animal fossils from southern Africa. She was awarded several grants in support of her research, including a Sigma Xi Grant-in-Aid of Research and two Texas Academy of Science grants, and was a McNair Scholar at Sam Houston State. She excavated at the Matjhabeng and Driefontein localities in South Africa and the Koanaka Hills locality in Botswana. Alicia presented several papers at conferences and published a paper on reptiles from Botswana while a student in the lab. She is currently a masters student at Villanova.
