Vaccines will be distributed in the University Health Center from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday (Oct. 8), for those on the "Seasonal Flu Priority List" and on Friday (Oct. 9), for all other employees as supplies permit.
The priority list will include:
• Employees 50 years of age and older;
• Employees of any age with certain chronic health conditions (such as asthma diabetes, or heart disease);
• Employees with household contacts of person at high risk for complications from influenza or have children less than 6 months of age;
• Health care workers;
• Employees with an annual salary less than $40,000/year.
Any remaining vaccines will be distributed in the UHC on a first-come, first-served basis on Friday.
Students and employees who have not already received their vaccine can request it from their healthcare provider or the following Huntsville locations: Brookshire Brothers Pharmacy, CVS Pharmacy, HMH Clinic, Kroger pharmacy, Sam Houston Family Clinic and Walgreens pharmacy.
Vaccinations will also be available through Target beginning Oct. 10 and Wal-Mart beginning Oct. 16.

Brian Domitrovic, assistant professor of history, was part of a panel that discussed the decline of the dollar and how to fix it on the Oct. 22 episode of CNBC's The Kudlow Report. Following the segment, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, who also appeared on the show, plugged Domitrovic's book Econoclasts. In addition, he was one of the experts who discussed the gross domestic product in a recent Public Radio International story.
