W-4 Online Update Now Available!
You may now update your W-4 online by accessing Banner Self-Service through My Sam. Once there, select the Employee link, and then select the Tax Forms link. You will have the opportunity to not only update your W-4, but you may also update the address that your W-2 is mailed to online as well.
2011 W-2s...
The 2011 W-2s have been mailed as of January 26, 2012. These can be also be accessed online through Banner Self Service on My Sam. Please contact the Payroll Office with any questions.
Clocking In and Out Change...
Individuals working overnight will now have a pop-up screen appear when clocking out that will ask the employee to verify that the time was worked overnight. A positive response will trigger the system to clock the employee out at midnight and back in at midnight for the two days involved.
When clocking in and out on hourly time sheets using the My Sam channel, the system now rounds to the closest 15 minute increment. For example, if someone clocks in at 1:50 PM, the system will clock in at 1:45 PM instead of 2:00 PM. Please contact the Payroll Office at 936-294-3248 with any questions regarding this.

1. Where can I find my online check stub?
For pay periods on or prior to 12/15/2010, please access them through the Payroll link on Sam Web. For pay periods on or beyond 1/3/2011, please access them through My Sam. Instructions to their location and much more can be found at: Self Service Banner for Employees
2. Where do I find my leave balances?
Leave balances can now be found on the Employee tab located in Self Service Banner. Please use the link in question #1 for instructions to locate this and many other items of employee information.
