Other State Tax Information

Sam Houston State University is registered as an employer in the following states:

• California
• Louisiana
• Ohio
• Oregon
• Texas

If your department desires to hire an individual that will continue to reside in a state other than those listed above, please contact the Payroll Office. Adequate time (average 3 months) will be needed to register and become an employer in additional states.
