Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. was founded by Most Honorable Brothers Leonard F. Morse, A. Langston Taylor, and Charles I. Brown. Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc., an international organization of college and professional men, was founded in 1914 at Howard University.
Its founding principles are Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service. These principles are exhibited in the Fraternity motto, "Culture for Service and Service for Humanity." As one of the nine predominately black Greek Lettered organizations.
Phi Beta Sigma has a membership of over 105,000 with over 650 chapters throughout the continental United States, Europe, and Africa. Phi Beta Sigma consists of men who are committed to service in their communities, their states, and the advancement of African Americans in business and education.
