Meeting Site and Local Hotel information

 

 

All activities of the 32^nd  Annual Meetings will be held on the campus of  the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas, which includes excellent conference facilities. The campus is located at 2222 Welborn St. off of I35E, near the UT Southwestern Medical Center.  

Directions From Interstate 35E: Traveling either north or south on Interstate 35E, exit at Oak Lawn Avenue. Travel east on Oak Lawn Ave 8/10 of a mile to Maple Avenue. Turn right on Maple Avenue and travel to Welborn Street. Turn right on Welborn Street to arrive at TSRHC.

A block of 60 rooms will be held for TGS participants until March 7, 2005, at the elegant Melrose Hotel (http://www.melrosehoteldallas.com), at a special price of $129 per room per night,    Call (214) 521-5151 to make reservations.  To get the special room rate, indicate that you are attending the annual meetings of TGS at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital.  Although there no formal Society functions scheduled at the Melrose, it will serve as the headquarters hotel.  It is located at 3015 Oak Lawn Avenue, within a seven minute walk of the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.  Adams Mark Hotel in Dallas at 400 North Olive Street will serve as a back up hotel with rooms offered at $109 for single and double (800) 766-6338 .)
