We
as a chapter like to stay active not only on campus but also in the community.
Our main philanthropy is the Head Start program in Huntsville. We plan multiple
events through out the year with the kids there. We do things like Pumpkin
painting, Easter egg hunts and Field days. These kids don’t have too
much to look forward to so it really is a very rewarding experience to be
able to give them your time and see how happy you can make them.

Another event we have recently started is the Theta Chi Charity Pool Tournament.
We try to get as many of the Fraternity’s and Sororities on campus to
get involved and Charge an entry fee to each. The top three winners in the
men’s and women’s tournaments get an amount of the entry fees
donated to there Charity. Last year it ended up being a very good tournament
and every one involved had a great time. The teams that took first in the
tournaments were, for the men Sigma Phi Epsilon, and the women Zeta Tau Alpha.
Were hoping the tournament this fall goes even better.
