Mission Statement
"The purpose of this organization shall be to provide support for students, faculty, and staff whose religious beliefs do not fall in the mainstream, to supply information about alternative religions and to act as a voice for the Pagan community on the Sam Houston campus." - The Student Pagan Association Constitution, Article II

Welcome! Feel free to poke around and check out the rest of the site. We just did some remodeling here, so some of the links may be broken. Please let us know and we'll work to fix things as quickly as possible.

Meetings are held every Tuesday from 7 PM to 9 PM in the LSC Room #327. We socialize, we discuss important news and events that relate to the pagan community, we learn about other pagan religions, and we do a lot of hands-on activities.

Updates:

9-14-2007 - I was looking around for some pagan pamphlets when I stumbled upon this. It's a very funny list of pagan-themed jokes. You all should check it out.

9-11-2007 - Updates on the site are mostly finished. I have just a little bit of tweaking left to do. Our first meeting was kind of small, but a lot of people weren't able to make it this week. Our next meeting will more than likely be an introduction to being pagan in general, we'll touch on some taboo topics, and then we'll do a small informative lecture on learning about unfamiliar pagan religions. We will also be planning this semesters events. I hope to see all of you next week!

8-28-2007 - I'm looking into the Council of Magickal Arts and their Samhain festival. Hopefully, we can put a group together to take part in the events and festivities. Their website is just a tad bit confusing though...so I have to read everything. At our first meeting we'll discuss the plausibility of gathering the funds necessary in order to attend. Also, as per usual, we will go to the Ren Fair during opening weekend when the tickets are cheap. Hope to see you at our first meeting of the semester on Tuesday, September 4, 2007.
